The Tulsa Dream Fields project is a renovation of baseball and softball fields at Lafortune Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The goal is to raise $10 million to remove all existing facilities and replace them with six new fields.
The fields are designed to replicate Major League Baseball parks using iconic features and similar dimensions while maintaining youth approved field sizes. The new design includes artificial field surfaces that reduce injuries and is immediately available following inclement weather.
The field lighting for night time games is state of the art. The new lighting will be much more efficient and effective than the current lighting facility that will offer better and safer conditions for playing at night.
Fields are designed for use by special needs individuals, a league dedicated to allowing all of our youth to experience team sports participation. A playground designed for children under 12 year of age and will also be designed to accommodate children with special needs.
The new complex will dramatically enhance the area and be attractive draw of economic support for the Tulsa area and Oklahoma. This will be a boost for the local economy. This facility will be a showcase youth sports venue to encourage and excite the youth of our area to participate.
Our current thriving enrollment in our sports leagues will be a facility for even greater number of youth as our venue offerings more than triple by this multi-purpose design.
